**Circumstances leading to the deportation of foreigners from Turkey

The following are deported:

• Terrorist organization executives

• Members

• Supporters

• Those who benefit financially from these activities

3. Use of forged documents

• Fake passport

• Fake ID

• Fake visa

• Application for entry or residence with false documents

4. Obtaining money illegally

5. Pose a threat to public order, public safety or public health

6. Visa violation

After visa expiry Unauthorized stay exceeding 10 days**

• Exceeding the visa-free entry period

• Revocation of visa

7. Revocation of a residence permit

8. Working without a work permit

9. Violating entry or exit rules

10. Attempting to enter Turkey despite an entry ban

Foreigners who do not leave the country within the specified period after the refusal may be deported.

**Who are the persons protected against deportation?

Even if a deportation order is issued for the following foreigners deport will not be applied:

1. Those at risk of the death penalty, torture or inhuman treatment

2. Those whose repatriation is life-threatening due to health, age or pregnancy

3. Those with life-threatening illnesses

If there is no appropriate treatment in the destination country.

4. Victims of human trafficking

People in the protection program.

5. Victims of physical, psychological or sexual violence

Deportation is not possible until the treatment process is completed.

⚠️ Deportation can be resumed when these conditions are no longer present.

How to Appeal a Deportation Order

Foreign national:

• within 7 days from the date of notification

• By filing a lawsuit in the administrative court

may appeal the deportation decision.

General rule:

Deportation is not applicable until the case is concluded.

However, there is an exception when:

• Files with terror links

• Persons who pose a threat to public order/security

• Those whose application for international protection has been rejected and who remain in the country beyond the deadline
